Jazz Time

Things have been a little hectic since the end of September. Between flying to Arizona, then flying back to only drive to New York, then coming back to a few weddings and portraits. I feel like I’m starting to finally get settled again; so, I’m catching up on some blog posting.

Near the end of September, I rejoined the Charleston Jazz Orchestra to photograph a few events and a concert performance. An accomplished trumpeter and percussionist, Etienne Charles, was commissioned to compose an original piece for CJO’s Latin Night. Charles’ Caribbean flavor infused with the talent and passion of the CJO musicians made for not only great music, but great photos. Below are some of my favorites from the events of that week.

In loving memory of Jack McCray.
