Ashley and Brent

A few weeks ago, I photographed an after-wedding portrait session for Riverland Studios. Ashley and Brent wanted a classic Southern scape; so, we went to Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant. What helps make beautiful and unique portraits is when couples are willing to be playful and experiment with ideas. Creating great photos is a collaborative process between couples and me. Ashley and Brent completely embraced that concept. When I asked if they’d mind taking their shoes off and climbing into a giant oak tree, they didn’t even hesitate. Their playfulness and dive-right-in attitude paid off and on top of that, we just had fun.
