Anna’s & Tyler’s Wedding

I really wanted to title this post “Anna Miller got MARRIED!!!!” and that’s because Anna is one of my closest friends. We’ve known each other since my sophomore year (her junior year) at College of Charleston and we were also roommates for two years. On top of this, we’ve also traveled abroad together. While she was teaching in Istanbul, I flew over to Turkey and then we ventured to Jordan for a couple of weeks. But since the time we lived together and trekked over 800 steps up to a monastery in Petra, many things have changed in both our lives. For her, that includes meeting Tyler (and I’m so glad she did!). He is a great compliment for her and is always kind-hearted, considerate, witty, and fun.

They opted for an intimate ceremony under a willow tree in which Tyler’s friend, Alex, officiated. The beginning of the ceremony paid tribute to the Princess Bride – that’s right they did, and it was hilarious. After the wedding, lunch was served at the Wine Kitchen followed several hours later by a cookout at their place. This was the first time I tried a photo booth setup. Anna and Tyler embraced the idea with a box full of props, a backdrop and heart adornments. Congratulations and I love y’all!
