Beahm of Light

A few days ago, I spent the day hanging out with Grace Beahm, a photojournalist for the Post and Courier in Charleston. She also attended Ohio University; so, not only did we exchange plenty of photography and OU stories, but I was enlightened on how to properly equip myself for a northern winter (much appreciated!). The day started in the newsroom, then Summerville to photograph a German company opening a warehouse that will be producing commercial solar trackers and solar panel street lights, and the rest of the day was dedicated to following Mayor Riley who has been Charleston’s mayor for 35 years. It was nice being able to watch Grace in action, follow light, and find moments.
